Hands to Help

For several years I’ve read Confessions of a Fabric Addict’s Hands 2 Help series and thought that it was something I should do.  This year she added hometown heroes as one of the recipient suggestions and I finally decided I needed to do more than think about making something.  I had a bag or red scraps and some left over tan solid so I started the first tutorial Sarah posted.  A friend from church works in several nursing homes in the area in physical therapy and I could see how much of a toll the stress was having on her, so I decided she needed a quilt.  She was near tears when she opened it, you just never know how much someone may need to be noticed.
